Brad is a Professional Engineer!!!

Brad found out last night that he passed the PE exam! Brad is now considered a Professional Engineer. He knows more of the details of all that the title entails than I do but Lincoln and I are so proud of him. He put in a lot of time to study for the exam and it paid off. Lincoln was supposed to be born three weeks after Brad took the test but Lincoln had other plans and showed up a week and a half before instead! We had a lot of people praying for Brad and we are so thankful. Brad and I continue to be amazed and humbled as to how God blesses our family!!

Beach Weekend

As a baby gift, one of my dad's co-workers let us use his family's beach condo for the weekend in Cherry Grove. Although it was biker week and a bit loud, we had a great time. We spent time at Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing and managed to go to the beach for a little while both days. Link spend a little bit of time on the beach. By spending time on the beach, I mean sleeping! At this point, he isn't that big of a fan of the water or the sand. Brad is hoping that will change!

Tummy Time

Link's doctor said that at six weeks old, he could start tummy time. Wednesday was his first time and he did pretty good. Here are some photos from his attempts to lift his head up.

Mother's Day Weekend

We had the privilege of going home this past weekend for mother's day. It was a great first mothers day spent with family. Lincoln received his toy box built by my Uncle Stan and Aunt Lynn, met my parents dog Lucy, and we made our first venture to church. Although we did not get to fellowship with all the other people in church for the entire service, we made it. Lincoln and I heard the sermon from the bridal suite. Brad and Lincoln gave me a decorative sign to go with our others in the garage and a gift certificate for a massage. It was an awesome first mother's day and I feel so blessed for what God has given to me.

A side note....thanks to Derica for making Lincoln's onesie for my aunt and uncle. It was a big hit with the Sears family!

Four Generations

Over Easter weekend, we went home and Lincoln was able to meet more members of my family. On both my mom and dad's side of the family, Lincoln is now the fourth generation of the Sears and Bordeaux family. Here are pictures with both sides of the family.

Say Hello To Lincoln!

Although he was not supposed to show up until today, Lincoln Bradlay Davenport decided to take matters into his own hands and show up on Wednesday, March 30th. Despite being on the small side, Link is doing really well. Brad and I feel so blessed to have him in our lives and can't wait to watch him as he grows up!
